PETIT FILET WITH FIG JAM

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1-1/2 lbs. Petit Filet
  • 2 tsp. Fig Jam
  • 2 tbs. Stew Leonard’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Season the meat with salt and pepper
  2.  Place olive oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat and sear the petite filets on both sides, about two minutes per side.
  3.  Spread the fig jam on top of the petite filets.
  4.  Place in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 8 to ten minutes.
  5.  Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
