If the order has not yet been made, any order may be cancelled without any penalties and all charges will be refunded. Every Tom Leonard’s catering order is prepared to order, and we have no way to re-use your food once it has already been prepared for you. We apologize, but we cannot cancel, refund or give store credit for an order if you change your mind or mistakenly order an item after the order is prepared. You will be responsible for the full amount due for all prepared food.
All cancellations must be received no less than 48 hours prior to the requested pickup time and date. Cancellations within 48 hours of the pickup time and date will not be accepted. The customer will be charged for the prep time and food supplies in the event of a cancellation within 48 hours of the requested pickup time and date.

Emails or voicemails will not be recognized or accepted as a valid cancellation. Your cancellation or changes are not confirmed until Tom Leonard’s Farmers Market has contacted you either by email or phone to confirm your changes or cancellation.
REFUNDS & RETURNS

Food Order Errors
If you receive food that is different from your receipt, we sincerely apologize. Please call our catering team as soon as you notice that there was an error in your order. You may come to pick up the correct food item. For credit card payments: you will be refunded the sales price amount associated with the error, and recharged for the new (correct) items’ price. For cash payments: you will be asked to pay the difference of the balance if the new food has a greater value than the food received in error. In the same way, you will receive the difference of the balance back as credit for the new item if less than the food received in error.
Food Order Incomplete
In the rare occasion that you do not receive food that is on your receipt, we will make it up to you. Please contact the catering team as soon as you notice that any food items were not received in your order. You may cancel the missed food before we prepare it without any question, and we will refund the amount to a credit card or we will refund you with a store credit. No cash refunds.
We cook our food fresh to order, with only the finest and freshest ingredients. We take great care and pride in all of the dishes we make. Please contact the catering team immediately if you receive unsatisfactory food caused by a dislike or objects in the food. We will need the food returned in the original container(s) so we may investigate and resolve the issue. We will then prepare you a new food order. If you do not wish to receive a new dish, we will refund the amount to a credit card or will refund you with a store credit only after we receive the food in the original container(s) and have confirmed the error.
FOOD ALLERGIES (NUT/DAIRY/GLUTEN/OTHER FOOD ALLERGY/SPECIAL DIET)
Tom Leonard’s Farmers Market cannot guarantee full omission of all ingredients that we use in our kitchen. Our kitchen and cooking areas are open, and allergens such as nuts and gluten are present. There is always a possibility of cross contamination even when taking every precaution. Tom Leonard’s will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items an individual may come into contact with.
Tom Leonard’s Farmers Market:
Will not be responsible for circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to weather, traffic, accidents, road closures, construction, vehicle breakdowns, equipment malfunctions, health issues or acts of God or nature. We will do our very best to remedy all unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Agrees to have orders ready in their entirety at the requested time and date specified at the time that you place your order.
Will not be responsible for the safety and quality of our food once it leaves our supervision and care.
Sales tax will be added to all orders and the tax amount is not negotiable. The State of Virginia requires sales tax to be applied to all service charges as well as hot and cold food. If your organization is tax exempt or requesting tax exemption, you must provide Tom Leonard’s Farmers Market with appropriate documentation showing your organization as a tax-exempt entity.
Tom Leonard’s agrees to comply with all health, food safety, and sanitation requirements set forth by the State of Virginia in the preparation of all food orders.
