Trickling Springs Creamery opened in 2001 to provide fresh, wholesome dairy products to consumers.  They accomplish this by using milk from local, family farms that take the best care of their animals and land. These happy cows get all the sunshine and free grass they want during growing season and are not pushed in growth or production by synthetic hormones.  They maintain a personal relationship with their farmers and focus on providing you the best product for your enjoyment.  They offer organic and all-natural products that are created in small batches to allow them to focus on quality and freshness.

 Based in beautiful Central Virginia, Old Church Creamery produces probiotic dairy products from the milk of Jersey breed cows. Their goal is to produce the healthiest foods possible and protect the environment at the same time.  They use no man-made fertilizers or pesticides on their grazing pastures. Instead, they spray their own compost tea, raw milk, and fish emulsion with kelp to build up soil fertility and produce healthy forage for their cows.

We pull our own fresh Mozzarella daily! Our mozzarella is one of our most popular items. Come try it and take a ball home for your dinner!

We make our award-winning mozzarella fresh every day – right before your eyes! It’s the freshest and best mozzarella you will ever taste. Deliziosa!

Mozzarella Tips:

  • Buy it fresh, the same day it is made. The mozzarella should be soft, moist, and have a taffy-like texture. Avoid mozzarella that is dried out.
  • Ideally, mozzarella should be eaten the day it is purchased and should be served at room temperature.
  • If you are not eating the mozzarella the same day of purchase, you should store it in the refrigerator in a container of cold water with a tablespoon of salt added to it. Salted mozzarella will keep for about one week; unsalted will keep for just a few days

Stone ground chocolate made by stone grinding organic cacao beans into perfectly unrefined, minimally processed chocolate with bold flavor and texture, unlike anything you have ever tasted. Made in Somerville, MA by way of Oaxaca, Mexico.   Great as a sweet treat, baking, savory cooking or makes your good ole hot chocolate an extra special treat.
